JO (Junior Olympic)

This group is our first level of competitive diving. Divers in this group have shown the desire and grit necessary to be successful in the sport.  In this group, we are taking the skills learned from the Competitive group and perfecting them so that they can be progressed into more complicated skills and dives. This group is working to compete at the Junior Olympic level.

In order to move to this group divers must:

•  Must pass SK 4, have all directional dives on 1M and 3M, AND a minimum of a JO competitive list on 1M as well as being able/willing to perform platform jumps- all heights.
• Must have a good attitude, be coachable, and the move up is dependent on the time of year in which the JO group can accept new athletes (time of year varies as the JO athletes prepare for competition season)
  

Goals of the Group:

• Maintain a JO competitive list on 1m and learn the skill needed for one off 3M and platform.
